Overview
Not every aging seawall needs to be replaced. When the wall itself is fundamentally sound but soil is escaping through cracks, joints, and voids, polyurethane injection restoration can stabilize the structure for a fraction of the cost and disruption of new construction.
The application is non-intrusive. Using portable equipment, polyurethane resin is injected through pipes directly into voids and loose, sandy soil behind the wall. The resin seals cracking, voids, and defects in the wall itself while simultaneously mixing with the surrounding soil — curing into a solid, impermeable mass that stops further material loss. It is a proven, long-lasting solution.
The cured resin is stronger than crystalline bedrock, and combined with proper drainage this method can greatly extend the life of your seawall.
It is also environmentally responsible. The seawall repair resins we offer are approved as safe for contact with drinking water, certified to NSF 61-5, which means they can be used anywhere without an adverse effect on water quality.
