An aging seawall does its failing quietly — soil loss behind the panels, movement in the cap, a shoreline that no longer holds its line. When repairs can no longer restore structural integrity, replacement is the responsible answer, and it is worth doing once and properly.
The challenge
Replacing a seawall means working at the exact boundary between a finished, landscaped property and open water. The new wall had to be driven to solid bearing, tied back correctly, and capped cleanly, while protecting the lawn, landscaping, and dock access the owners live with every day.
Our solution
Our estimators began the way every seawall project should: by inspecting the entire existing wall to confirm that replacement, not repair, was the right call. The new wall was then built from the foundation up: panels driven to secure footing, a continuous concrete cap tying the system together, and a dock walkway integrated above.
The finished shoreline holds a crisp, level line across the full width of the property, with the strength behind it to keep holding that line through the storm seasons ahead.
